You make ‘fast’ living look just fine Looks like I got here just in time! I did it! I finally made it under 160lbs again!!! Least for this season. I may have reached it earlier this year but I kinda stayed true to my closure from August. Meaning, the “lineage” for that profile does not apply to my current profile. You see the height i had been weighing myself the last 2+ years was a height I was made to believe was my actual height. After visiting a doctor to check my kidneys(turned out it was a back problem) and confirming my actual height, plus comparing my previous height to other people like Becky Lynch(when I met her in 2018). Yes, my current profile is tied to my true height. So I’ve been weighing myself w/ the ‘Rubis’ profile if you’ve been keeping up w/ my Twitter. Anyway there really isn’t much difference between the two. It’s just that the taller you are, the higher your healthy range in weight is. While the shorter you are, the lower it is. I was basically setting myself for the impossible w/ my previous profile 😅 even if it was 1 or 2 pounds 🤪 anyway, I’ll happily accept this milestone. Today, much like many other Mexicans that go to my gym, I wore a fútbol jersey lmfao I wore the Italy jersey that was obviously too small for me when I got it years ago. Having lost all the weight, it still doesn’t properly fit me 🤣 which is proof of how much more I need to lose(just 10 more pounds). I also finally had a full cardio sesh w/ my muse 😁 even if it was interrupted in the beginning and I went ahead w/ a head start. I’m gonna rest tomorrow. Show up the days leading up to my interview. Go back Friday and skip Saturday in favor of sleeping in due to attending DJ Soda’s show on Friday. Then it’s whatever the job I applied for tells me if I’ll start as soon as that Sunday or Monday or maybe another week. I told them ASAP but it all depends on my interview & assessment tests. After changing the story last minute to what you see in this post now, this should illustrste the process. The timings in the video are significant. Back in the university days of living on campus and off too, Id gym almost everyday - usually at night so even though it wasnt me driving there, it sort of adds to the visual of it all. It's name "infected" for two reasons: the name of the song, and also because once I got into the routine of gymming, it was like being infected by a way of thinking and way of life. Yes I post my body a lot and some might see it as disrespectful or self center and the judgement is going to happen no matter what. Let me tell you that for the longest time I have hated my body. I have compared my body to so many women. I have felt not good enough. I have torn my body into pieces wishing I could take away so many things. Slowly and very painfully I have come to accept my body and I work hard on it but I embrace what I have. Week 1 check in! I’m not going to lie, this sucks. I feel very vulnerable. I totally get why my clients don’t want me to post their progress shots, but at least their identity can be hidden and their faces blurred out 🤣 Unposed and In some seriously shocking harsh light but here we go! Haha On my first deficit since I had my youngest son and I thought I would struggle more, but I was fine. Nothing was excluded from my diet. I had cereal, bread and pasta heaps of fruit and veg and plenty of protein. My week was thrown because my son had surgery and was in hospital, I had a work event that was a true test to my will power but I pulled through. A successful first week. I focused on my diet, no step count was included because I work a desk job and I’m seriously strapped for time, the last thing I wanted was to put more pressure on myself to reach a step target. This will be a tool I keep in my kit for when progress slows down and if I feel I need to increase my energy expenditure. It was ovulation week, which is awful for me as I suffer from female reproductive issues.PCOS and a long history of endometriosis. I know I carry about a kilo heavier during this time. Here are my week 1 results: 1800 calories Gym 5x a week Weight:- 1.3kgs Down 6cm I’ve birthed and carried 2 beautiful babies, there is nothing wrong with my before photo, I’m proud of what that body has done. I’m after a challenge and can’t wait to see what next week looks like. A big drop for week one which is expected, progress should now slow down and even out over the next coming weeks. Ps. Hey Papa. Na, bist du startklar? Franken goes NRW Morgen früh geht's los. Heute habe ich mir noch ein paar Abbauschrammen zugezogen. Nachdem ich schon meinen Finger angebohrt hatte, von den zahlreichen blauen Flecken ganz zu schweigen, ist mir heute auch noch eine Eisenstange voll auf den großen Zeh geknallt. Das sind Gefühle. Ich glaube ich bin nach dem Umzug ganz schön demoliert. In den letzten beiden Wochen habe ich gelernt, dass sich deutsche Umzüge von russischen doch ein wenig unterscheiden. Oder anders gesagt, ich habe mich in Geduld und Vertrauen geübt. Sind ja beides voll meine Stärken, lach. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf meine neue Heimat. Es fällt mir schwer Menschen hier zurückzulassen, vor allem weil ich nicht so schnell wirkliche Freundschaften knüpfe und diese sehr wertvoll für mich sind. Heute war eine liebe Freundin von mir da, sie ist für mich wie eine kleine Schwester, das hat mir schon sehr weh getan zu sehen wie es ihr damit geht. Sie hat mir einen kleinen Freund mitgebracht, Wegzehrung und Nervennahrung. Morgen kommt die echte kleine Schwester, ich glaube sie ist auch ein bisschen aufgeregt, hihi. Wird schon alles gut gehen. Die neue Wohnung ist echt riesig und sie hat einen schönen Balkon. Nur leider keinen Aufzug, ich tue mir jetzt schon leid. Ich bin sehr gespannt. Am Wochenende war bei uns auch ein kleines Festchen. Das ist immer ganz nett, die geben sich da wirklich viel Mühe. Die Türme werden immer bunt beleuchtet und es stehen Buden da und eine Band spielt. Und es gibt noch so manches drumherum, wie z.B die tollen Stelzenläufer. Nun gut, jetzt schlafe ich mal ein wenig, morgen wird es ganz schön anstrengend. Ingredients: 400g/14oz potatoes, peeled and cut into chips 1 tsp vegetable oil 1 large egg, separated ½ lemon, zest only handful fresh lemon thyme 2 x 150g skinless, boneless cod loin fillets 150g/5½oz peas, fresh or frozen, to serve 1 lemon, cut into wedges, to serve salt and freshly ground black pepper . . . Directions: Step 01 Preheat the oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gas 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Step 02 Boil the chips for 3-4 minutes, then drain well. Pour 1 teaspoon of oil into a baking tray and heat in the oven. Add the chips in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes Step 03 Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolk, lemon zest, lemon thyme, salt and pepper together in a bowl. In a separate clean glass bowl, whisk the egg white until soft peaks form when the whisk is removed. Fold the yolk into the white. I HATE TO WORKOUT, I'M TIRED!😫 I don't know how many times I've said that in my career. Having been in this field of health and wellness for years I often find myself reflecting on why I thought that way. My no.1 conclusion is that I want to be comfortable. I don't want to workout and I want to eat whatever I want and not gain weight. I'd even like to exchange my body with someone to go work it out for me (if that is possible haha) However as I've gotten older with more experience I'd love to say that I no longer feel this way, but I still do.. Controlling it is a daily struggle that I face because I've seen enough people to know where they're headed, disaster. I’m not saying I get it right all the time, I don’t and I get so angry with myself when I allow these feelings to control me because it’s my fault. I always take full responsibility. You can't control your circumstances (really wish I could) but I can control how I react to it, and my self control with more advanced skills and knowledge I acquired from my past coaches and mentors kept me going. ............................................................ In Summary, don’t let the comfortability mindset stop you from doing what it takes to reach your health goals.. I don’t say I HATE TO WORKOUT as much these days but old habits die hard, that’s why you’ll always benefit from being coached because you will hit walls, you will get pissed off, life will get hectic and you won't feel the need of putting in the work anymore, you will hit plateaus, it’s normal but it can cripple your progress and cause stress, anxiety which can cause you to give up if you get it wrong for long enough So you can always ask me for help if you're ready to lose weight and get back in shape ones and for all or you can remain in your comfort zone and continue to think about doing this. Noting is guaranteed apart from death and tax behind that it’s about making the choices that get you to your goals, so what do you think you should do to give yourself the best chance of reaching your goal.
