✨TEST & REVIEW✨ this week is made by @itslivb - it’s a “Creamy Dijon Orzo Skillet w/ Vegan Paprika Chick'n” https://itslivb.com/2021/01/12/creamy-dijon-orzo-skillet-with-vegan-paprika-chickn/ This specific dish is in our monthly rotation, especially when the weather starts to get a little bit cooler. It's got bite and zing, with some sweetness as well. I love doubling the recipe as it is perfect for a weeks worth of lunches when I am teaching! This recipe has a few steps (like making the Vital Wheat Gluten - seitan - "meat"), although once your protein is prepared the entire process takes about 30 minutes. We only like sharing recipes that are easy and that you can make in no time! - I also love doubling the seitan "meat" and freezing the other half as I love throwing it in stir frys and even with some rice when I am in a bit of a time crunch for a meal. For the "greens" portion, I always have frozen spinach in my freezer that makes it easy to add! Overall, keeping it on the rotation! If you decide on using a different protein of choice (like tofu) it will take less time! Although the ingredients are relatively easy and these are all ingredients staple to the plant-based cupboard. Rating: Price: 4/10 (canned coconut milk can be pricey! Although that is the most expensive part of the meal, especially if it is all ingredients you have on hand already). Taste: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (it’s quite easy! If you aren't familiar with seitan, this is a great starting recipe. It does add some time to the total time, and there are a few steps - frying the protein, sauteing, cooking, wait times - although it is worth it for sure!) Try it! You won't be disappointed. Again, this test & review series is to help find easy simple plant based recipes that you can add to your food rotation. Expand your tastebuds, and realize that plant-based foods isn't just bland rabbit food. - Amanda 🌼

🅟🅐🅢🅢🅐🅣🅔🅛🅛🅘 🅘🅝 🅑🅡🅞🅓🅞 🔹Spesso cerchiamo nuovi abbinamenti alimentari, senza considerare che in un paese come il nostro la tradizione ci regala un vasto assortimento di piatti dal Nord al Sud Italia; ed i passatelli ne sono un esempio. 🥣 Sono una minestra tradizionale della Emilia Romagna, in particolare della Romagna e della provincia di Pesaro e Urbino e di alcune zone delle colline di Ancora, e di parte della Provincia di Perugia. 🔸È un piatto completo preparato con semplici ingredienti.... 🥣 𝕀𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕚 PER 3 PORZIONI 🔹1 litro e 1/2 circa di brodo di carne 🔹100 g di pangrattato finissimo(oppure pane raffermo grattato e per chi ha sensibilità al glutine può sostituirlo con il pangrattato di mais) 🔹100 g di parmigiano grattugiato(meglio stagionato almeno 36 mesi) 🔹 2 uova (circa 100 g) 🔹 noce moscata 🔹 buccia di limone grattugiata 🔹sale 🔹 pepe 🧂🧀ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕫𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕖🍞🥚 🔸  In una ciotola raccogliete il pangrattato e il parmigiano reggiano grattugiato. In una seconda ciotola sbattete le uova con sale, pepe, scorza di limone e noce moscata a piacere. Iniziate ad amalgamare con una forchetta. 🔸Impastate a mano fino a ottenere una palla liscia e morbida. Qualora fosse troppo dura diluite con un po' di brodo, in caso fosse troppo tenera aggiungete altro pangrattato e parmigiano. 🔸Avvolgete il tutto nella pellicola alimentare e fate riposare a temperatura ambiente per 2 ore. 🔸Suddividete l'impasto a metà e fate passare ciascuna di esse, una alla volta e con una certa forza, attraverso uno schiacciapatate a fori larghi. Dovrete ottenere dei passatelli di circa 4 cm. 🔸I passatelli in brodo sono pronti dopo un paio di minuti quando verranno a galla. 🐟SALMON🐟 . I actually love salmon😍😍😍 such a quick and easy meal. In a ramekin or small bowl I mixed 1tbsp of honey, 2 crushed garlic cloves and a good few tbsp of soy sauce. I gave that all a mix and glazed over 2 pieces of salmon (one for me and one for mum) . I popped that in the oven in foil for 20 mins, served with sundried tomato and garlic cous cous and brocolli💪🏻😇 . Happy Monday💖
