What Happens To Your Body When You Meditate Every Day : My favorite healing technique, it has truly taught me so much during my darkest days. It is inner work, it is not just sitting and breathing. There is more to be done and this is what most people do not know about meditation. This is beyond mindfulness. As you sit still and demand your mind to calm the f*ck down, your psyche is actually undergoing some major positive changes. Things that happen to your brain not before or after, but exactly while you're meditating.‪💥 ✔Your body releases stress so if your cortisol levels are low, that means you areToo Blessed To Be Stressed haha. ✔Brain Wave Activity Increases - When you're meditating. ✔Your Body Enters Relaxation and you feel light, and free from worry you feel so happy. ✔The gray matter - ( love this ) In your brain is located in the hippocampus, a part of the brain that is crucial for learning and memory. This one was the hardest for myself especially after my stroke ! imperative for attention, emotion and mental flexibility.
