Life is never just black and white! Life is everything that happens in between and depends on shining the right light on every moment, thing and situation. Lighting something so that people can recognize it for what the designers and engineers wanted it to be has always been my mission. For my book Black Beauties, that I did with author Jürgen Lewandowski, I chose the most difficult and complicated of all colors, the non-color black, to show what it’s all about: Looking at the vehicles in this book, you’ll see that each one has its own charms—on every model, on every view, your eye will linger on lines, on details. Even the most yawn-inducing car that we would give only a passing glance if it were painted red or yellow, develops a special presence in black with the right lighting, a presence that demands that we pause and look closer. There are many fundamental differences between Persian miniature and other styles of painting. A Miniature is always a single folio of a book, and It is not in a frame on the wall. It is full of details, and The audience is supposed to spend time on it while enjoying and getting immersed in figuring out its vast information. In other words, seeing is not enough. It is supposed to Tama.Sha.The longer you look, The more you see. "Tama. Sha" is a paraphrased digital sculpture based on one of the most famous Persian miniatures named "The court of Kiyumars" from "the Shah Tahmasp Shahnameh" c. 1525-35, illustrated by "Sultan Mohammad," changes in response to the quality of the audience's look. An eye tracker sensor is placed on the printed version of the painting and measures the quality of your looking. Gazing time, movement of eyes and the subject you are looking at in the picture generate a unique digital sculpture on the wall. However, the nature of Persian paintings is neither on the wall to be shown nor fast. Le passeggiate all’alba o al tramonto con le onde che bagnano i piedi come una danza. Le riviste e i libri un po’ unti e un po’ secchi per via della crema e del vento che si sposano a perfezione. APRICOT WALNUT FOOL Apricots annoy me. They look so enchanting with their yellow-orange hue and they beguile with their honeyed sweetness. There is, however, one major obstacle: finding a ripe one. So many times I am stood in the supermarket in fruit and veg aisle, praying for soft, yielding stone fruit and I am more often than not left disappointed. I explore the flesh of the fruit - prodding and poking - hoping for a glimmer of juiciness. They are always hard. Practically crunchy. And before you ask, I simply don't live an organised enough life to ride alongside the 'ripen at home' brigade. I did it though. I found some ripe apricots. If you too manage this elusive feat, use them to make this light yet sumptuous summer dessert. INGREDIENTS 300ml plain skyr (@hesperuk) 300ml crème fraiche (@isignyuk) Juice ½ orange 2 tbsp runny honey (@rowsehoneyuk) 350g apricots 150g walnuts (@whitworthsuk) METHOD Toast the walnuts in a dry pan over a medium heat until aromatic. Take off the heat and roughly chop them. Roughly chop ⅔ of the apricots and place them in a small saucepan with the orange juice and honey. Cook over a medium heat until the apricots begin to disintegrate into a compote. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Whisk together the skyr and the crème fraiche in a large bowl. Add ⅔ of the compote and stir. Decant this mixture between six serving dishes. Dollop the rest of the compote on top of each dish followed by the halves of the apricots you saved at the beginning. Sprinkle over the chopped nuts and serve.

Phare du Petit Minou - Finistère - France - Décembre 2020 Depuis la fin du temps où le monde se brise sur les lames des larmes effarées, dans le creux de la vague où nichent les passions incertaines, balloté dans le tourbillon des univers insensés, là, dans la limite rouge des horizons perdus, je pense encore à toi. Mon amour, mon phare perdu jusqu'à la fin du monde, Finistère au matin froid d'une journée d'hiver, quel bonheur encore de te savoir près de moi, dans l'écho merveilleux de ta voix d'hirondelle. Dans le murmure du vent, j'entends encore les oiseaux qui chantent à tue-tête et je sais que c'est ton prénom qu'il chante. Dans la chaleur d'une onde de printemps, je devine, inouï, le soleil qui brille dans l'éclat mat d'un amour éperdu et je sais que c'est encore ta lumière qui vient éclabousser mes rêves. Et dans le vent où glissent, immobiles les condors du Colca, mugissent, insensés, les échos de ta voix. De petites notes étourdies qui s'entêtent et qui tournent, ébahies par la beauté du monde, et ces fourmis idiotes qui jouent à dominer les chemins du hasard. Par tes pudeurs et par tes yeux bleu nuit qui percent mes murailles, je vois dans le reflet de ton cœur d'orchidées, la sauvage épopée du temps béni où l'amour essaimait.
