Two exercises from my GLUTES activation workouts I do on a consist basis to warm me up before leg day at the gym or right before I get on the futbol pitch. Standing lateral leg raise benefits include strengthening and building up your hip muscles and activates your GLUTES. Band kickback benefits include targeting the GLUTES and helps improve muscle strength and tone. The exercise also boosts core stability and balance, sculpts the hips, legs, and thighs. These workouts really add a difference to my game on the field. My balance and stability has improved significantly from it. Last clip of the video you see the benefits they provide me on the field with. As the smaller guy on the field I have to play a lot smarter and used my wits to win out 50/50 battles, this play shows how I used my one leg strength and proper balance to beat out a much bigger opponent for the ball. He didn’t realize he was gonna be met by a wall. My Sunday league is stacked with 6’4” dudes, they see the 5’9” Hispanic guy CB and think they are gonna have an easy day. Current situ👇🏼👇🏼 💜Training- 5x a week, 3x legs, 2x upper💪🏽 🧡Cardio- 2x 30mins 💛Steps- 12k (I average it out over the week) 💚Kcals- unknown, post-show I prefer to follow a set meal plan with added extras, instead of macro-tracking. Food focus is higher than usual post-show & macro-tracking just exasperates that for me🙂 my meal plan has most of my favourite foods in it, but if I do fancy something extra, I’ve been having it, ok, I’ve been having a lot of extras👀 💙Sleep- very ⬆️ & ⬇️, this is a work-in-progress, but it’s improved over the last couple of weeks🙌🏼 🤍Recovery- My first week back lifting until failure (last week) was a different story, but this week recovery is back to a very good place😍🙌🏼 ❤️Mindset- It’s been ⬆️ & ⬇️, although, Since getting back to training properly motivation has shot back up, I wake up excited to train again & that’ll only increase further with a new training plan🤩🤩 I’ve really had to go back to basics with my mindset & mindfulness practices over the last 6 weeks to protect my mindset around food & life in general. It’s not been easy & I could have handled everything better, but I’m human & I’m still proud of the progress I’ve made mentally compared to previously🥲 💖Weight- unknown, haven’t weighed in over 2 weeks🙂 💜Body Image- Fairly positive, apart from the odd day😊 I just appreciate my body so much🥰 May share a visual check in sometime soon😊 Featuring @shapesbyfatima 🛍 Code ‘Mezz15’ for savings💸
