I typically don’t try to do the maximum weight on chest presses, as my spotters sleep in and I know I will fail and probably kill myself 😃. 2 years of training vs 10 years of training 💪🏽 10 years in this industry made me realize that no matter how great your desire to change, it will never be enough without action. 👉🏽 For years I have been building my body and that of many others. The cycle of effort and not being rewarded with the result (goals) will surely lead to frustration and further self-destructive behavior (idgaf mentality.) If you want to have that growth or transformation you need in your life, it may be time to take the next step, take it completely seriously, and start investing in YOURSELF! I can't stop stressing this enough. Many people focus too much on financial success, but forget to take care of themselves, don't have time to enjoy it, or get sick, or aren't happy with the way they look, etc… Start investing in yourself. I swallowed my pride today. I realised with these rehab runs i’m doing, I’m trying to compare my pace to where I was back in May before I got injured. Yes I can run around a track for 15 minutes at 5:40 but when you have no base it’s kinda pointless. I realised I need to go back to the drawing board and build up base fitness. Whenever my pace has been strong it’s always been on the back of a solid base. So I decided to wind my pace back and just plod along and let my body get used to operating under stress again. What do you guys think?
